Job Description

Responsibilities

       1.   Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department

    2.      Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records

    3.      Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

    4.      Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

    5.      Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

    6.      Provide assistance and support to company personnel

    7.      Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

    8.      Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

    9.      Constantly update job knowledge

    10.   Processes supplier invoice & record in outstanding payments

    11.   Raise invoices to debtors & follow up on due collections

    12.   Issue payments for all accounts due

    13.   Prepare and update weekly reports with latest available information or work done.

    14.   Ensure recording of transactions are correctly recorded in accounting system (UBS)

    15.   Assist in ensuring integrity of General Ledger (coding accuracy)

    16.   Assist in with budget input and monitoring.
